The Cultural Center "Brâncovenești Palaces from the Gates of Bucharest" and the
Fighting for Art Association, invites you on
Saturday, August 24, 2019, at 6 pm, at the Palace Ground floor, at the opening of the
exhibition "Sat and Orthodoxy" signed by
Christian Paraschiv and curated by Ana Petrovici-Popescu.
The exhibition Village and Orthodoxy seems to be a balance, a mix between
history
and recent the identity of the artist who feels the need to refer to an original form of life,
to
The Romanian nomos, seems to be looking for a reassurance to confirm them
existence / presence, performing a recapitulation of life and values. The two landmarks
of
tradition, the village and the orthodoxy are viewed with a mature and distant reflection
of what
it actually means community, that is: customs, values, beliefs and life together.
