For his work he acquires the best colors, oils and pigments, with a preference for colors OLD HOLLAND and old Romanian colors. However, he often uses his own expertise in the preparation of colors, media and paint oils, because the painter believes that certain performances can not be obtained without adequate material. It is noteworthy that, after many experiences and having read old painting treaties, he managed to rediscover the formula of the old Romanian colors.

He consults old painting treatises, history of arts and styles, books you can find in his library along with contemporary ones. of the "market", he has a healthy dose of selfcriticism and believes that the painter's mission is to continuously work and avoid wasting his energy in other endeavours.
